The Azul Freediving Challenge is an intermediary competition with a maximum depth of 70m. It is perfect for beginners and advanced freedivers who wish to discover the world of freediving competition.
Most competition are very elitist, but Azul freediving Challenge wants to be a fun competition where every freediver can have fun and share his experiences!
During 3 days, athletes will try to do their best to score points and make it to the podium. Winners will get prizes from our sponsors during the closing ceremony !
This AIDA official competition is open to all certified freedivers, so don t miss your chance !
The Yum Ki’n competition will take place from September 22nd to September 24th of 2023 for the next edition but we will have training and workshop starting the week before.
The Cenote Yum-Kin is located 74km away from Playa Del Carmen and it’s a perfect place for freediving ! It is a large cenote with facilities near by to get ready. The Cenote itself has a depth of 87m, the max depth allowed on the competition will be 75m. The water temperature is high (around 25 degrees), as in all cenotes there is no waves or current, this offers amazing conditions.
