The Azul Freediving Challenge – Spring Edition 2025 was a great success!
We welcomed 23 athletes from 12 different nationalities, and their incredible performances truly captivated us. They showcased the passion, dedication, and unity of the global freediving community.
This competition is open to all levels of freedivers:
We were thrilled to welcome 7 first-timers, and we’re celebrating 6 new national records along with countless personal bests!
A huge thank you to the amazing safety team, the judges, all the athletes, staff, sponsors, the cenote, and everyone who contributed to making these 3 days so special!
After an exciting and challenging competition, it’s time to recognize the outstanding efforts, creativity, and excellence of our participants.

NATIONAL RECORDS
Mexican athlete and coach looking forward to participate again in one of the best Freediving Events. He got a National Record in the CNF discipline with 86m!
In her third year at the Azul Freediving Challenge with the Freedive Utila Team, she set out for a national record and ended up breaking three for Peru: 47m CWTB, 33m CNF, and 42m CWT.
Freediving champion from Switzerland with over 20 National Records to her credit. She got a new National Record in the CNF discipline with 53m!
Hailing from Southern California, Nicole’s first freediving competition was Azul Challenge in 2019. She got a National Record in the CNF discipline with 56m!
