Our beginner’s package is ideal for those interested in learning about Freediving and exploring the wonderful underwater world of the Mayan Riviera. You will start with 3 days of theoretical and practical lessons with the AIDA 2. During the next 2 days you will practice your acquired skills by exploring the most beautiful Cenotes and discovering the seabed & the incredible wildlife of the Caribbean Sea.
The AIDA ** freediver course is the foundation freediving course covering the necessary skills and knowledge for recreational freediver to safely freedive with or without a guideline.
You will be introduced to four freediving disciplines : static apnea, dynamic apnea, free immersion and constant weight. The course will follow your abilities and it is not a competitive course.
Enjoying is the most important point for us. We will first start in confined water and then explore the beautiful mexican cenotes while freediving.
If you want to practice some specific skills, to get better techniques, to try to improve your personal best (PB) or simply make some fun dives, your Pranamaya freediving instructor will spend the day with you and will gives you all the tips you need to improve your abilities.
The training is done into cenotes that offers perfect conditions for freediving, no waves nor current and depth.
Ocean dive only possible if the weather allows it, if yes it will be happening on the wreck in Cozumel (extra $800 mxn, ferry not included).
If we are during the whaleshark season (mid-June to mid-September) the ocean dive will be at the whaleshark and the price will be adjusted (extra $2400 mxn)
If we are during sailfish season (Jan 20th to March 10th) we will do the ocean dive there and the price will be adjusted (extra $2400 mxn)
