Pré Recquisites

  • Be 18 years of age or older (16 years with parent or guardian consent).
  • Aida ** certified or equivalent.

  • 50% deposit to secure your booking
  • The remining balance (50%) due two weeks before the trip.

Itinerary

Day 1Playa del Carmen

Meeting at PranaMaya – 18h00
Paperwork, equipment, payment, presentation of the trip & meeting your guide.

 

Day 2Cenote Maravilla

Freedive training with line in Cenote Maravilla, great location to get back in the water and amazing playground for pictures.

Day 3Ocean Safari

We will embark on an ocean safari as we set out to witness the mesmerizing local sardine run.
Our day is dedicated to exploring the sea’s wildlife, eagerly seeking out spectacular bait balls hosting sailfish, playful dolphins, and a myriad of surprises hidden within the open ocean.

Day 4Ocean Safari

Today presents another opportunity for our ocean safari adventure.
We’re heading back out to sea, determined to increase our chances of encountering the captivating local sardine run.

Day 5Ocean Safari

Pursuing Ocean Marvels! Our ocean safari continues into a third day, brimming with excitement and renewed determination. Expect the unexpected!

We will also pass by the island of Contoy and Isla Mujeres while we are exploring the ocean.

Day 6Inland exploration

Today is inland exploration! We’ll visit one of the Yucatan Peninsula’s most awe-inspiring cenotes, boasting incredible stalactites and crystal-clear, deep waters. After an exhilarating dive, our next stop is Ek Balam, where we’ll visit the ancient Mayan site.

Day 7Cozumel shipwreck

We are heading to Cozumel island to freedive the shipwreck in the clear waters of the caribbean. Expect to see a lot of underwater life during this dive.

After that we will go and explore the reef.

Day 8Hidden Cenotes

Exploring Hidden Cenotes: Discover a secret cenote tucked away in the jungle. A scenic 20- minute walk leads us to this truly amazing cenote, a perfect way to culminate our jungle adventure week.

Day 9Heading Home

Today is dedicated to relaxation before your departure. Take this time to unwind and prepare for your journey back home.

Extra infosOcean & Cenotes

  • Pre requisite: be 18 years old of age or older and being a certified freediver (Aida 2 or similar minimum).

  • Max group size: 8 people

  • The meeting will be in PranaMaya freediving shop

    in Playa del Carmen.

  • We recommend flying to Cancun international airport.

  • Bring your personal freediving equipment, we recommend a 3mil wetsuit with hoody.

  • Weights will be provided and contact us if you need rental gear.

  • It will be an international group and the main language is English.

  • The schedule may change depending on weather and local legislation.

  • There is no guarantee to find the wildlife.

  • Respect for nature is mandatory at all time.

  • We recommend to bring eco-friendly sun screen and anti-mosquitos product.

  • Sea sickness medication is recommended for the ocean safari days.

  • Plugs are 110 volt – Europeans will need an adaptor.
