Every year a group of female bullsharks come to Playa del Carmen.
This year we are vey lucky to have really good conditions for freediving and we already did many excursions to freedive with those beauties. Of course we have to take our cameras to get some shots to share with you all ! I hope you will enjoy the pics and that you will join us for this amazing adventure.

Since 2020 the area is now protected and PranaMaya is involved in the protection of the sharks, we collaborate with the CONAMP organization to regulate the activity of freediving with Bullsharks to offer a great and safe experience to our freedivers !
Those dives are for advanced freediver, you must be confortable around 25/30m to enjoy the experience. If you don t feel ready you are more than welcome to join our training into the cenote and practice until you feel confortable for the experience.
